What You'll Actually Learn

Six modules that build from fundamentals to advanced competitive analysis. Each one includes real client scenarios from Australian businesses—because theory alone won't help you find the keywords that convert.

01

Search Intent Decoded

Most people get this wrong. We'll show you how to read between the lines of search queries and understand what people really want.

  • Commercial vs informational signals
  • Query pattern recognition
  • Intent mapping frameworks
02

Volume vs Opportunity

High search volume doesn't always mean high value. Learn to spot the keywords with better conversion potential even when numbers look small.

  • Competition analysis methods
  • Long-tail opportunity assessment
  • Seasonal trend evaluation
03

Technical Research Tools

You'll work with professional-grade tools and learn to combine data sources for insights that single platforms miss.

  • Advanced filter techniques
  • Data export and cleaning
  • Custom tracking setups
04

Competitor Gap Analysis

Find what your competitors are ranking for that you're not. Then figure out if those gaps are worth closing.

  • Backlink profile comparison
  • Content gap identification
  • Authority metric interpretation
05

Local Market Strategies

Australian search behavior has quirks. We'll cover regional variations and how to research location-specific opportunities.

  • Geographic modifier patterns
  • Local pack optimization research
  • Regional language variations
06

Client Reporting

Research means nothing if you can't explain it. Learn to present findings in ways that make sense to non-technical clients.

  • Priority matrix creation
  • Forecasting methodologies
  • Visual reporting templates

How This Program Works

Real Client Projects

You'll work with anonymized data from actual Australian businesses across different industries. Retail, services, B2B—each brings different challenges. By month three, you'll be analyzing niches you've never heard of and finding opportunities anyway.

Small Group Sessions

We cap groups at twelve participants. That's deliberate. When someone finds an interesting pattern or gets stuck on competitive analysis, the whole group learns from it. Some of the best insights come from these discussions, not lectures.

Feedback That Matters

Each project gets reviewed individually. You'll know what you got right, what needs work, and why. We're not handing out generic comments—you'll get specific guidance based on your actual research and methodology.

Flexible Schedule

Live sessions happen Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7pm-9pm AEDT. Can't make one? Recordings are available within an hour. Project work happens on your time—some people finish modules quickly, others need the full two weeks per module.
